Dinair Airbrush Make-up - Before and After

I recently bought an airbrush make-up system. I chose to go with Dinair as the name has been around for a long time and you can mix the colors to the shade you like. This is something you can't do with the Temptu air pod system (Mix your own colors). I love the airbrush system. It really does cover like it says it will. It makes your skin look great. The main con is that it takes longer to do then throwing on regular foundation. Below are the pros and cons as well as before and after pictures so you can get a true concept of the coverage.

VERY good coverage
Feels very light on your face
Easy to use
Stays on ALL day
Face does not get oily or need to be touched up during the day
A few drops of make-up covers your entire face

Takes longer to put on make-up than regular foundation routine
Have to clean the airbrush system after each use which takes time
The compressor is obviously louder than putting on regular foundation
The initial cost of the airbrush system

Before Airbrush - No makeup

After Airburshing - No Mascara, etc

Final  - After Airbrushing with Mascara and Lipstick

Before Airbrushing - No make-up (as you can see I had a bad breakout this weekend)

After Airbrush - Covered the breakout completely

Redneck Valentine Cake......I Miss You Hostess.....

Below is the Redneck Valentine cake I made for work. The entire thing fell over after I made it. I blame "Little Debbie". It just doesn't hold the same as "Hostess". I had to take a moment to cry when I realized my Redneck Cakes would never be the same now that Hostess is out of business.

Back to the drawing board for my cakes. I am determined to figure out a way to do it and do it better than ever. Wait until I make the best Redneck St. Patrick's day cake. Tears will not happen on my next one....I can promise you that.

Laughing Gas, Apparently, Really Makes you Laugh...........

Libby and Lake went to the denstist yesterday. They are champs and did a great job! Most 5 and 6 year olds hate going to the dentist, but my kids LOVE it. They think that each time they go they "win" a new toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and a treat out of the "prize drawer".
I don't have the heart to tell them that my Insurance is actually what pays for all that.

Libby ended up having a cavity - even with brushing. I told her that the Dentist would be giving her some "laughing gas" to help her be calm while the dentist drills. She literally laughed the entire time she was getting her cavity filled. She asked if she could go back and do it again.

Glad she didn't cry at the Dentist, but I am not sure if I like the idea that she is asking to go back and get another cavity filled?!?  Hmmmm....Maybe no lauging gas next time.

Had to post this picture of her as happy as a clam.........
